Players can bring any tank currently available in World of Tanks Miniatures Game that has been released and are not restricted by the types of tanks or nationality. Normal platoon building rules apply. Models do not have to be painted but this is encouraged, especially if the player wants to take part in the hobby award.

Players must submit their lists before the event. The deadline for submitting lists is March 8th 2024. The TO will verify list construction is accurate and follows rules. If a list is not compliant, the TO will notify the player as soon as possible. Final Revisions need to be submitted by March 15th. Lists should be sent to [email protected] Players must fill out their list using the format listed in World of Tanks organized play packet listed in the link below.

Organized Play

Alongside their list players should also submit the following:

Name

Email

Contact number – used for emergency contact.

City – used for pairings

State – used for pairings

Gaming club/store – used for pairings

Players must bring at least three copies of their list to the event. The list provided should have all points described (i.e., tanks, crew cards, modules, etc.) but the list shown to opponents needs to only have the total points and other values that are revealed at the start of the game. The TO will check a player’s list during the event.

Players should bring all gaming accessories needed, including models, dice, tokens, measuring arrows, rulebooks, damage decks, etc. Players who fail to bring these items cannot qualify for awards. If models or items become lost or damaged during the event this should be reported to the TO. Players cannot use proxy models, including 3d printed models (proxy models are models that stand in for another, for instance a Sherman 75mm standing in for a Sherman 76), or the following proxy gaming aids: tank cards, upgrade cards, measuring arrows, dice. The use of these will result in immediate disqualification.

Players do not need to bring terrain, as Battlefront will provide the tables and terrain. Players should discuss between each other the terrain types on the board before setup and play.

If an odd number of players participate the TO will have a player take a bye (considered a win but indicated as a bye for pairing purposes).

For initial pairings this will be based on the player’s city, state, and any club they belong to so players get the opportunity to play new opponents. For subsequent rounds pairing will be based on Wins, then strength of schedule, then tank kills.

Players should interact in a sporting manner including but not limited to asking and providing their list, following mission deployment layout, reviewing terrain, rolling dice where all participants can see, reminding opponents of rules, clarifying end of game scoring.

Other players should not interrupt other players’ games, they should confirm any questions or concerns with the TO when necessary. Players should confirm any questions/concerns first to the rulebook and errata then theTO.

Games should be played to match the battle modes listed in the WOT rulebook. Scoring should match the format listed for each mission. If players run out of time, they should complete the round they are on. Players should not start a new round if there is less than 10 minutes of time remaining in the round. If players go over time finishing their round, they will both lose the mission.

Missions that may be played include Assault, Capture the Base, Encounter, and Free for All. Missions will be written on chits and pulled out of a bag each round. No mission will be played consecutively and no mission will be played more than twice.

To the left of each of the opponent’s names the player must write the table they played on, to limit the number of times a player replays on the same board.

Tables will be marked play space (3ft by 3ft). Gameplay will only occur in this region of the boards.

Players will utilize the score sheet from the World of Tanks organized play kit. These will be provided by the TO

All rulings of the TO will be final.

Time: 10:00 Hrs – 12:00 Hrs

Brief:

Intelligence has ascertained that a group of Germans has a large cache of Untraceable Gold Bars that they are guarding while awaiting to transfer the gold to a Motor Transport Company.

Allied Forces have been assembled and have been given orders to “Get the Gold” into Allied Forces hands by any means.

You realize that if you can get to the gold first you and your crew will be Heroes and you may also be able to get away with a few bars for yourselves.

Rules and Info:

Each Player will get (1) Tank and (1) Upgrade Card. Tanks will be assigned randomly to each player. Initiative will be determined each round by the GM. Each turn you will attempt to get across the mat and make your way to where the Gold is being guarded.

You will encounter a variety of Tokens on the mat. These Tokens can give you an extra Upgrade Card, repair a hit, advance you (1) Arrow or some other Goodie. Conversely some of these Tokens can be Mines (Roll a Dis to see if it inflicts damage), sets you back (1) Arrow or some other malady.

The Germans are defending and guarding the Gold the German Tanks will be operating as Pill Boxes and will not be moving (Thus getting Offensive Rerolls for Blank Dice).

If an Allied Player destroys a Pill Box that Player will advance their Tank (1) Arrow.

If an Allied Player runs out of Hit Points they will Respawn (3) Arrow lengths from the Starting Edge for the Allies, they lose All Upgrade Cards except for their starting Upgrade Card and start to make their way across the mat again. You may continue to pick up Upgrades you find.

This Match will last 90 minutes, or till (1) Allied Tank makes it to the Gold Cache and stays on the Objective for (1) Complete Turn without being destroyed or challenged by another Tank.

There are (3) Zones:

Zone 1 is where the Allies start from. There are (6) German Tanks acting as Pill Boxes plus Tokens in this area. Allied Tanks “May” make alliances with other Allied Players if they choose to or act independently.

Zone 2. There are (7) German Tanks acting as Pill Boxes plus Tokens in this area. If an Allied Player can eliminate a German Pill Box in this area, that Player gets an Extra Attack Die to their Tank in Zone 3 until the end of the Match. An Allied Tank may only have (1) extra Attack Die in Zone 3. Allied Tanks in Zone 2 “May” choose to Attack other Allied Tanks in Zone 2 and 3 only.

Zone 3. This zone has the Gold, it also has (8) German Tanks. (6) of these Tanks are Acting as Pill Boxes and do not move, (2) Tanks will be mobile. Allied Tanks in Zone 3 “May” choose to Attack other Allied Tanks in Zone 3 only. Keep in mind that there can only be (1) Allied Tank that can win.

Win Conditions:

1st Place – Be the first Tank to grab and hold the Gold by being within 1 Arrow of the Gold Token and hold that objective position for (1) complete turn without being destroyed by either German or Allied Tanks. If Time runs out on the Match, then the Allied Tank closest to the Gold Token wins the Match. (If NO tank is within the 1 arrow to hold the Cache of Gold by the end of the Time Limit, then the closest Tank to the Cache of Gold will win 1sr Place).

2nd Place – Be the 2nd closest Tank to the Gold Token at the end of the Match.
